Dr Margaret Heffernan took the to the Future Talent LIVE stage to talk about how we can instill a lifelong love for learning in young people. 

 

Author and businesswoman Dr Margaret Heffernan joined us to look forward at how young people’s careers may change. Picking through the prognostications of futurists, Margaret put forth the case that students today will thrive if they hold a love of learning throughout their working lives.

About Margaret

Dr Margaret Heffernan produced programmes for the BBC for 13 years. She then moved to the US where she spearheaded multimedia productions for Intuit, The Learning Company and Standard & Poor’s. 

The author of five books, Margaret’s third book, Willful Blindness : Why We Ignore the Obvious at our Peril was named one of the most important business books of the decade by the Financial Times.
