Putting STEM at the heart of the curriculum: Future Talent LIVE 2018

Written by Future TalentEd | Nov 18, 2018 2:07:00 PM

In a panel discussion chaired by The Baroness Brown of Cambridge, Julia King, chair of the board of STEM Learning, we considered how to ensure that all young people receive the world-leading STEM education they deserve, as part of a broad and balanced curriculum.

Our panel, presenting diverse perspectives, discussed what employees are looking for and how we can support young people’s pathways into work in an increasingly complex world.

Our panellists

Baroness Brown was joined by Simon Ashley, UK HR director at BP; Malcolm Trobe, a past deputy general secretary of ASCL and former headteacher, and Riffat Wall, principal of Urmston Grammar School in Manchester.
