This programme provides a broad, accessible route for building practical management capability across financial services organisations.

Participants build practical capability across six connected areas that strengthen individual contribution, management confidence and organisational performance.
Financial services organisations use this programme to widen access to management development and strengthen practical capability across teams, functions and operational environments.
Financial services organisations need practical management capability at scale, but many colleagues who organise work, support others and drive improvement are not yet in formal line-management roles.
This programme gives those colleagues a recognised, levy-funded route to build confidence, judgement and influence through practical missions, AI-supported learning, coaching and real workplace application.
The real constraint with professional development is rarely funding — it is time.
Our programmes are designed to work with the flow of real work, not compete with it.
Participants typically commit around four hours per week, combining structured learning, coaching and applied missions directly linked to their role.
This ensures development strengthens day-to-day performance while building capability for the future.

Participants apply new skills directly to their role through structured monthly missions linked to real organisational priorities.
This programme sits within a broader set of levy-funded management, change and AI capability pathways for financial services organisations. Speak with our team to discuss the right progression route for your workforce.
All programmes are available in customised versions for the public sector or financial services sector.

The Financial Services Transformational Manager Programme is a practical management development programme delivered through the Level 4 Junior Management Consultant Apprenticeship.
It builds management confidence, stakeholder capability, structured problem-solving and AI literacy through applied learning connected to real financial services work.
The programme is designed for aspiring, new and existing managers, emerging leaders and operational professionals across financial services organisations.
Participants do not need to be formal line managers. The programme is also relevant to colleagues who organise work, support others, influence stakeholders or contribute to operational improvement.
No. “Junior Management Consultant” is the official title of the apprenticeship standard, but the programme can support colleagues at different career stages.
Eligibility depends on the relevance of the participant’s role, the capability they need to develop and whether the programme provides substantial new learning.
No. Formal line-management responsibility is not a requirement.
Participants must have sufficient opportunity to organise work, collaborate with others, engage stakeholders, investigate workplace issues and apply recommendations or improvements.
Participants develop practical capability in management confidence, communication, stakeholder influence, structured problem-solving, evidence-based decision-making, AI literacy and continuous improvement.
They apply these skills through real workplace missions rather than learning management theory in isolation.
Learning is applied to financial services contexts including customer outcomes, operational delivery, regulated environments, risk, service quality, digital change and cross-functional collaboration.
Participants use examples and workplace missions connected to their organisation, function and role.
The former Level 5 route focused primarily on managers with responsibility for people, performance and departmental delivery.
The Level 4 programme provides a broader and more accessible route. It supports aspiring and existing managers as well as colleagues who coordinate work, influence others and contribute to organisational improvement without necessarily having formal line-management responsibility.
