No. The programme is designed for Talent and people professionals rather than technical specialists. The focus is on practical AI use, workflow improvement, stakeholder alignment and responsible adoption, not coding or advanced software engineering.
Yes. The programme is fully fundable through the Apprenticeship Levy for eligible organisations.
The funding band for Level 4 AI & Automation Practitioner apprenticership (delivered as the Future Talent Leaders' Programme) is £18,000.
Discounts are available upon request for learners funded outside the levy in devolved Nations and globally.

The Future Talent Leaders’ Programme combines practical AI capability with management judgement, stakeholder influence, communication and change adoption, so participants can improve Talent workflows in real organisational settings.
The Level 4 AI & Automation Practitioner apprenticeship (delivered as the Future Talent Leaders' Programme) runs for 12 months, followed by the apprenticeship end-point assessment, which participants normally complete in 4-6 weeks after Gateway (ie after completing the 12 month programme).
Participants typically commit around four hours per week of protected learning time, alongside applying learning directly in their role.
Participants achieve the Level 4 AI & Automation Practitioner Apprenticeship, aligned with the national occupational standard.
Learners also gain Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals certification, strengthening practical capability using AI tools.The programme helps Talent professionals build a broader capability stack combining AI fluency, workflow improvement, judgement, influence and change capability.
